When you mention the mini-14 specifying being chambered in 5.56 the reasoning for that is even if .223 and 5.56 are interchangeable - the 5.56 cartridge is a higher pressure than .223. So any gun which specifies .223 wouldn’t be able to withstand a 5.56 due to the difference. I love the collection, especially the browning buck mark simply because of its pistol carbine look.

Classy choices, the AR especially so in today's modern AR world. It's a North Hollywood shootout type build. Long live the A-Team Mini 14, too! Airsoft is what made me love the M16A1, good times with the ol Tokyo Marui M16VN, lol. I have a build very similar to yours, CAR stock, Brownells repro handguards and all, but with a pencil barrel and.... flat top upper 🤡 Still love it tho, handy rifle. Great to see a vid from you in so long.

Thanks! I must admit that the main reason I swapped the A1 fixed stock for a CAR15 collapsible was because I saw some images of the North Hollywood gun and thought it looked great! I was thinking of trying to source a Beta C mag but I don't think it would be too much fun to fire off 100 rounds with a straight-pull! 😂 That sounds awesome! To be honest I wish mine had a pencil barrel, the balance is absolutely awful with the heavy profile I've got. Thanks again, really appreciate your support!

I don't remember if the Mossberg will allow you to "ghost load" another round on the lifter.

I love your videos! I hope you don’t mind me saying but you have one of the best narration voices I’ve heard, you could read the ingredients of a soup can and it would sound so elegant and sophisticated’ wish you did more videos! I know your out of Airsofting now, but I was wondering were you would recommend getting second hand items from? I’m really after a Tanaka Snub nose .38 replica but can’t any place with them in stock, so thought the second hand market would be best. (There is one retailer Wolf Armouries that has them listed but they have told me they order a few times from Tanaka a year but have ordered any revolvers this year so far. And they also never said if they were going to.) Edit: I have shot and a long barrels .357 and the kick on that was horrible, it never rolled up in the hand it just slammed into my palm. (And I normally don’t mind recoil.) So I could only imagine how bad the .44 magnum kicks! Any help is much appreciated! And I look forward to your next video, Kyle.
