Excellent video Dan. So nice to have been invited today. Sorry I did not get chance to come over and say hi as you had a lot of people talking to you. I like the Porto myself, the wrap around cushions at the front were nice. I did not see the point of the glass splash back either. Thanks Ian....

There is a Tv socket in the Sintra model at the front. it is located on the left hand side of the front 2 drawer mini pull out table!!! So don’t be deterred in considering this!
@andyr50295 жыл бұрын
A very timely video Dan. We were thinking of replacing our caravan and this is certainly food for thought. We would want a tranverse island bed this time and our excitement with the new Sintra model was somewhat diminished when we saw there was no shelf or TV point near the entrance door. We would never want to spoil the view out of that beautiful Bailey signature window at the front so this could sway us away from this model unfortunately. Great video and very informative as usual!

As the summers are going to be getting hotter and hotter,do these have air con please ??,im presuming you would have mentioned if they did.
@jonward5425 жыл бұрын
Why do Bailey not use any architrave around the interior door seals? There's an obvious gap around the toilet door from the kitchen area - not very private! Have noticed this on the Unicorn Cabrera as well. Glad to see that the unsightly screws securing the kitchen sink are no more though.

Lovely. As always great detail presented in a fun and engaging way and hooray for decently long front sofas and thus proper beds for families with beyond the bunks kids! Definitely the Porto for us ;-) We don't travel with a TV but trust me talking to each other can be overrated ;-)

Have they ditched the Alko wheel lock? They seem to be fitted with the Nemesis.

Hi Ray, no Alko Secure as standard across the range. The Nemesis is used for demo purposes only.

Lovely looking and well spec'd caravans. A little on the pricey side I would say at first impression. Will reserve judgement until I have seen them first hand. Thanks for another informative and concise video Dan. I also spotted the mistake on the 6 ft 12 in bed size. I am sure it was the pressure of getting this out that caused that to slip through the normally impeccable Trudgian quality control system.

Hi Dan great review just like the journey in last years heat wave when you were buying your caravan one point i would like to ask you you mentioned the tv brackets on the one with the fitted by manufacturer Black plastic you said you just need to get a vision plus one that slips over the fitted plastic bracket i got a vision plus triple arm bracket i had to remove the fitted one and drill extra holes do they make an adapter to fit the arm brackets or did i get it wrong?? Dave

Dan can I make a suggestion as your channel really gets masses of views and something that I think will be of interest to fellow caravan pullers is to try out some powerbox units that connect to your Glow/spark plugs as they claim they increase BHP and fuel consumption something all caravaners want to make better. Yes I have had previous knowledge of these devices when owning a Freelander 2005 t4 pulling a Elddis Aurora MPTLM 1565KG and once i had one installed which anyone can fit then it was genuine more power and the fuel consumption figures actually got better

Hi Dan is this Baileys new top of the range offerings, why do I ask you might here me say! Well Bailey have always been known for light weight caravans and yet when viewing these new offerings I can only assume they are their flagship ranges as they are very close to the MTPLM's of Coachman VIP models which I have a big favouritism for

There does seem to be alot of sticking out wooden bits. They are Inbetween the lounge cupboards, the kitchen, doors to the centre washroom and bedroom area. Not to mention a jutting out kitchen and weird shelves. I think I must have discovered some bizarre OCD but it would drive me insane, especially those top lockers above the lounge. And that wine rack thing is hideous, especially that weird sticking out shelf below it. On a positive I'm liking the new kitchen and bathroom sink.

I don’t see the point of these vans , the fist van is the same as a Cadiz but 154kg heavier and it has the same rubbish payload of 155kg.
@MyBigTOW5 жыл бұрын
It's an 8ft wide so whilst it's a similar layout to the Cadiz it's got much more space. The extra width will of course make it heavier.
@scotiajinker83925 жыл бұрын
You have missed my point , yes it’s bigger and heavier by 150kg ye you can only carry 150kg of stuff , not to mention it’s £4K more expensive than the Cadiz. It doesn’t have as much kit as a buccaneer , I think it will flop , not enough to take people away from the unicorn and not take people from a buccaneer , is in the middle ground with a very small customer base.
@MyBigTOW5 жыл бұрын
@@scotiajinker8392 I don't think i missed the point as these are not points you made in your original comment. Had you done so it may have been clearer what you meant. I suppose we will see how it goes. Not everyone has Buccaneer money and it my well fit Into that middle ground you describe. The impending demise of the Lunar Alaria may also present extra opportunities for sales.

As someone not in the market for a brand new van, the continuous 'new van' reviews aren't really appealing to me and nor I'm sure, many of your viewers. It isn't just your channel, other's do exactly the same and I'm sure many of you have affiliations with the brand of caravan you recently purchased. What would be really good to see, is some of these channels going to the dealers and running through what 5-15k can buy those that either can't or not willing to spend 22k plus, or are dipping their toes in the water and want a cheaper van to have a go.
