can you just press the clutch to allow freespool with the clicker on? That way you dont have to tighten drag star before reeling?

It's more of a personal preference, I like having the ability to control the tension of the spool obtained by adjusting the drag, sort of like that with baitfeeder spinning reels.

Between the two which one do you think is worth the money, which one would you buy if you could only buy one ?

If I had to choose just one, I'd go with the Piscifun Alijoz 400 Baitcaster. It is more expensive but worth it. Both are great reels though. If you are on a tight budget, go with the KastKing Kapstan Elite 300 Baitcasting real. You'll be very happy with either in my opinion.
