Hi mate, Im looking at buying my first petrol 1/5 car, I'm torn between the rovan AS1 and the upgraded KM 002 from RCmodelz, they say the KM 002 has some stronger upgrades but what would you recommend between the two?

Hi mate you can't go wrong with either tbh mine has km parts rovan parts and hpi parts rc modelz help loads with parts availability but my baja was originally a KM 29cc untill I put a 36cc engine on lol so loud even with a silencer

U can't go wrong with KM mine rips now tbh slight tune from stock tuned pipe and it's gone lol

Also get some nobbly tyres ( madmax) for grass u will need them for traction lol good on gravel aswell but be aware they flick stones !! Lolol

@westmidzrc9506 the one i bought from RCmodelz is the ported engine one, it says it has an upgraded tuned pipe and some other upgrades on, will Deffo get some better tyres tho

Hi mate how's the new baja ? Hope ur enjoying it .. I use high octain petrol mixed with castrol 2stoke like shell BP ect

Not got round to using it yet, I want to petrol station but didn't know what petrol to get lol, I only saw E5 and E10, what's your petrol called at the pump?

Both will run fine in ur baja the e10 is the newer fuel with bio ethical in it and e5 is premium fuel higher octain tbh I use higher premium fuels in mine and never had a fuel issue
