Your videos are Must See KZbin. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us, wrong turns and all. I like to leave with a general plan for the trip but making each day's plan as I go. Rigidly planning far in advance is guaranteed to lead to frustrating missed schedules, but even worse, missed opportunities to fully see and experience where you are. It's always great to see Eva traveling with you.
@SterlingNoren2 жыл бұрын
It’s one of the biggest frustrations I see you in the world of adventure motorcycle in, that everybody tries to have too many things planned out. Flexibility is key!
@Liberty4Ever2 жыл бұрын
@@SterlingNoren - I think many people enjoy planning a trip almost as much as the trip itself. Once detailed plans are made, there is an obligation to stick to the itinerary and check off the destinations. This problem of over planning is probably worse for people in northern latitudes with long winters for planning and short summers for riding.

Could not agree more, when we toured America from the U.K. the best times we had were the unplanned stops. Which is why I avoided guided trips, the are just trying to check things off a list and often speed by really interesting things.

Hello Eva and Sterling as many viewers say you are "Living The Dream" our dream. San Vicente and San Quentin are beautiful but I can tell that has changed since I was las there 8 years ago! I am so glad that you discovered Mariscos. Fantastic tacos! I really hope that you can get across to the Sea of Cortez on your return and if you thought that a Pacific sunset was beautiful, just wait for it! As you are looking East the entire mountain coast looks like it's on fire! Great travel you 2 and thank you so MUCH for sharing! Ciao di Roma BTW as you know most times making the wrong turn ands up being making the "right" turn.

My brother and I have made several trips down to Baja over the years. We visited the observatory in Jan 2013. Where you turned around was at the maintenance area below the summit. We went over to the maintenance area and asked if we could go all the way to the top. At that time there was a gate blocking the road. They called up to the observatory and were given permission to travel to the top. According to my GPS it was 9240' elevation, views were awesome. Enjoy reading about your travels , ride safe

You are allowed to fly drones if you pay the taxes (20% of market value!!!) to bring it in as an import and to have a FAA or TC certification. Once you've imported a drone you can bring it back and fourth as much as you like though provided the serial numbers match up so make sure they get it right on your paper work and save those receipts.
