I wrote a children's book in 2017 that includes this Bajan dish - "A Piece of Black Cake for Santa." The Bajan child left jug jug for Santa (in stead of cookies). This is a great recipe to share with my readers.

Eagerly looking forward to see how Mr. Edey does it, as he knows his craft well. For Independence I tried my hand at conkies for the first time this year, and (surprisingly) the feedback I got was _quite_ good. So, I'll see if I can pull off a similar feat with jug jug. I'm curious why no *scotch bonnet* pepper is listed in the recipe, though. Lol

Unfortunately, I didn't get around to trying the recipe. Not surprisingly, as Christmas approached things got _super_ busy and I totally forgot to return to view the video. But I've saved it to my "Recipes" KZbin playlist, and *fully* intend to give it a go next Christmas! (Actually, I may make some for Easter. Hmm)
