In fact, sh was the only person who was one team with Bajirao in Mastani's case. 2- Mastani was never a woman who came to steal him away or spoil his marital wife. She was sent to him as a part of political negotiation. 3- Bajirao was never a mad lover. Film (or any fiction in general) makes you to believe that he loved only Mastani. But the fact was- he loved Mastani also (along with Kashi n his family too) In history, Bajirao's relation with Mastani started with politics, he developed affection for her over the time as he considered her as his wife (much to the discomfort of his mother n brother), n tried to do justice to her to whatever extent he could. When in the end, he realised, the cost was too much, (his family was boycotted by the brahmins) he left both his wives n Pune to follow only his political duties n remained in the military camp till his death.

@@ramk1071 even when kashibai saw that Mastani took away a lot of things form her she still handled it with grace and did everything she could form her side You can't say that Mastani sacrificed everything cause it's obvious that there is no clear black or white distinction between the characters Kashibai Mastani and Bajirao were all flawed in their own ways kashibai was in love with Bajirao but was too naive she never used much of dirty tricks or diplomacy and she trusted him a bit too much she was hurt a lottt because trust me she never got the kinda love and devotion she gave to Rao even when he didn't reciprocate it she was stuck,she didn't wanna cheat or anything so she kept on supporting him in her own way Mastani knew he was married and alll that and yet she just went on stealing someone's man and she knew how difficult it'd be yet she never kept a good backup she went along with everything that happened a lot of times she Just made herself of to be the victim but we all know that no on in the movie is actually a victim everybody gets the consequence of their actions she got hers Bajirao knew what might happen and everything that'd be important for the future but he made some too emotional decisions and like he kinda freakin' cheated before everything went down ok other than that he knew that kinda relationship would hurt everyone he himself,his wife,his son and Mastani but he went along he thought about what he wanted So noone in the main character group gave their everything to eachother they had their flaws they struggled to handle their relationships and no matter what they did they couldn't escape eachother they were just tied to eachother by the norms and societal strings
