An easier way to do this would be to put the chocolate in a bowl, bring the milk to a boil and pour it over. Let it sit a minute or two - stir, and done.

No no no you'll burn it!!!! You put the Chocolate into a bowl with the milk and cardamom over a pot filled with about an inch or 3 of water it's called the double boiler method. Easier and won't burn

Okay, so I've been in love with this video for months and today I actually made Baked Alaska with Jinkx Monsoon sauce. It was a little hard, and it took forever, and it didn't turn out nearly as nice as the one you did, but it was delicious! I didn't use brandy because I'm not 21 for another month, and I didn't want to actually set something on fire, but ironically after just 3 minutes in the oven the cake started smoking and set off my smoke alarms. Thanks for both the fun video and tasty cake!
