Mince & potato balls gratinated with cheese
ingredients
For meatballs:
Minced meat 500g
Half beef half lamb
1 half glass of breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1tsp cumin
1 teaspoon paprika powder
For potato balls:
6 potato
50g butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 handful of parsley
3 tomatoes
Sauce:
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 half glass of water
Finally "Kaşar" cheese
Recipe:
Boil water in a pot, put the potatoes in them and cook for 45-60 minutes until they are through, then peel and mash with a pounder, add 50g butter, parsley, salt and pepper and knead together to form a potato dough. Finally, moisten your hands a little and form round balls out of the potato dough.
Put the minced meat in a bowl with the egg, onion, clove of garlic, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika powder and cumin and knead your hands a little bit and shape them into round balls and finally sprinkle with a little flour so that they do not glue.
We put the tomatoes in a baking dish, the minced potato balls are then put into the oven for 30 minutes at 220 degrees, then we put half a glass of water in the tomato paste and then stir the sauce on the balls and finally the cheese, the whole thing comes again in the open until the cheese is nice and golden brown.
