Jessica From Hawaii as a store clerk, it’s okay you can run. i don’t like approaching people either, i know y’all will ask when you need something and i feel like i’m breathing down people necks. our bosses hover and make us do it lol. honestly if there’s a particular store that extra bad about “hover” employees, i’d tell a manager “hey i know your policy is for the employees to do (insert whatever), but that’s a policy i’d consider changing because its excessive and makes your customers uncomfortable” the workers probably don’t want to have to follow you through a store either and your voice is 1000x more effective in a business than the employees opinions.

Orange stickers are clearance, white ticket items are items that are just not on the planogram, which is just discontinued when that brand updates their section of the store. It’s not expired but just doesn’t have a place “in line” on the shelf

Im the same. I have an autoimmune disease where my autoimmune reaction is WAAAAAAY OTT. My body sees my actual organs as something that needs killing. So I’m on meds to turn it down, it’s the same meds they give transplant patients so that they don’t reject the transplanted organ. This means I literally catch EVERYTHING! A random cold can put me in bed for a week, the flu put me in ICU and food poisoning almost killed me (no joke, ecoli sepsis, not a fun experience). So you cough n I’m outta there... lol

I work at Ulta and the products with white tickets are not on sale they just have the regular price on them there usually products that don’t have a place in the store so they put them all in one spot the ones that have orange tickets are the ones that are on sale

Hey there Bunny, so the section with the *white* price stickers are actually just discontinued, but not on sale at all. I think they put them there to make room for new items in each brand section. The items with the *red* price stickers are actually on clearance and have a discount applied. Hope that helps!

Sorting through the items in clearance bins is a common occurrence for me and my husband, it’s not all “trash, defiled, or crusty” just at a glance. Sometimes people open products, but not always. It depends on what products are available and the safety guards on the products. I’m sure some were not intact, but others were. Yes, Ulta shouldn’t have open items for sale but they aren’t forcing us to buy them. We have to be smart shoppers and inspect our possible purchases, at least I do. I have gotten some very good clearance deals at Target and Ulta in the past. I just bought a Maybeline Colossal Mascara for $3.88 @ Target last week. Closed sealed package. I was very happy with
