I love that you don't follow a strict recipe. I don't either and am happier for it. I get to make things MY way! God bless you!

Hello Jan, I look forward to all your videos. You are the most wonderful lady to share your life and receives with us. Many a time I'm not sure what to fix for dinner and you share with us and you inspire me to fix one of your meals. Thank you so much. This ravioli casserole will be for a birthday meal coming up for my son-in-law this month. Thanks again, from grandma Katie in Oregon

I just love your videos. There is something so “homey” and comforting about them. Poor Cailyn is gonna be mad at you for making her eat onions when she learns humans don’t have gizzards.

@chasenip2 - lol, that's what I was thinking. Gizzards. LoL. Be by the time she realizes it maybe she'll understand how much flavor the bring to a recipe 🤭

God Bless you Jan, I was Raised poor myself and my mom always made homemade meals. So when I grew up I make all my meals homemade, including Bread and Biscuits. I Love watching all your videos and copying your Recipes. I would Love Living Next door to you because you remind me of my mom. She passed away May 2nd 2018 so I feel close to her by just watching you. Plus I get great Recipes. God Bless You abundantly.

Hi, my Mother passed May 15, 2018... I'm still devistated knowing I can't go visit her anymore. Or call her anymore, but I talk n prayer to her... Nobody really know what pain is until you lose your Mother... Because my family are Christians, makes it a little easier, but it's still difficult not being able to hug her, tell her that you love her.... I'm sending prayers to all that have lost their Mother and for those that still have their Mothers please cherish her... Because you never know when the Lord jesus will call her home. Amen
@kathyahaines47495 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry for your loss. Your never ready for a loss like that. My prayers go out to you and your family. I lost my mother when I was 19 I still miss her so much 😢 miss Jan kinda reminds me of her. I'm glad she's helping me with recipes. Mom died before I really learned to cook. God bless you all 😇

My Italian mothers in law (I married 2 Italians one at a time), they both add a little sugar in their "gravy", as they called it. Shredded carrots in your "gravy" also adds a little sweetness and breaks the acidic tomato taste. Your little girl is precious. There is no shame in being poor or frugal.
