It's not just about loading the box, everyone says that. The MUCH more important effect of Henry is that defenses want to play man coverage so they have an extra guy in the middle. But ask Bill Belichick, playing man against Lamar leads to him being 12 yards past the line before anyone realizes he's running the ball. As soon as that happens once or twice in a game, DBs start peeking, linebackers start freezing up and assessing and Derrick Henry starts feasting. Not to mention, there's no more pass rush so Lamar can bounce in the pocket until a receiver comes open.

This might be a hot take but when I see Lamar I see Russell Westbrook during his triple double stretch.... They're great at filling up all the stats because of how athletic they are but neither of them are true at their respective position... Lamar is still not seen as a true quarterback and Russell Westbrook is the same as a point guard.... They are both going to be Hall of Famers but I think both of them are affected greatly once they lose their athletic ability. Anyway just my two cents
