It was so awesome to get to film Crapo's rounding up their cattle this winter. It made for some unreal scenes and I was so stoked to be able to capture this memory for them!

Wow! I know that's tough hard work but those shots are beautiful ❄ love your horses and the tack ... where I live it's all English style riding and tack but I love western. Those tack shots were amazing ... the saddle blankets are super interesting. Well you guys definitely earned your dinner that day 🌨❄🌨

Love to see this. Takes a old Wyoming girl back to her youth, and sure nice to see those Hancock Roans saddled and being used for what they were bred for! Thanks

At least it’s more flat than what I use to round up cattle. Some years it would as dry as a pop corn fart. Other times it was so wet that we could barely get semis up the steep road to the corral. There were times when we had to use bob tail trucks chained up down to the high way. But they were good memories. The worse though was when it snowed. One year it snowed a foot in the mountains the second week in September. Those cows come out of the hills onto the canyon road waiting to go home. 1600 mama cows bellowing they wanted out of there. The highway was a major road through the canyon. We don’t come out until oct first. The corral could maybe only hold 800 head. That was a year we had to chain up bob tails and haul them to the highway. I have also brought cattle off the top of a mountain it two feet of snow. This was a late ride. We got most of the cattle out in a week and a half. But there is always the late ones. Our header and I went up where snowmobilers had seen about ten head. The problem as the cows knew the mountain better than we did. We had a hard time in the trees but the snow was deep we always got them. We trailed them out to a point that was really steep. I had been down it many times when it was dry and once when it was muddy. But never with this much snow. The cows skidded on there butts until it flattened out. The header went first. It was scary to watch but it was terrifying doing it. Now I don’t like roller coasters and there is a reason for. This trail was worse than any ride. Anyway we finally got down to the highway when I got off and kissed the tarred road. My horse turned to me and said with its eyes. Don’t ever take me down there again. We ended up trailing them about five miles to the corral. I loaded them up and took them home. The herder brought my horse home. My bob tail had chains on going up the road and I was too tired to take them off until 15 miles or about half down the canyon. By the time I got home I was exhausted, wet, and cold. That was a long day.

WOW!!! You completely blew my mind!! That is so amazing what all you've done! I would love to work cattle to that degree! I pray your doing well! Thank you for all the hard work you've done with the cattle! There needs to be a Farmer Appreciation Day! I only work 13 head on 22ac. It's hard for me to fathom what all you have done and the rides, joys, and hard times you've been through! Yahweh bless you and yours my friend! (God of Israel)♥️

Great video! The bulls at 5:08 look like the defensive line in a 3-4 scheme are not to be messed with.

They were probably trying like hell to keep the girls from leaving where the bulls wanted them, I have had a few bulls that you couldn't drive the herd because they were infront trying to turn the cows back.
