I have never tasted a Bakewell tart, but they always look so pretty! I LOVE the smell of almond extract, too. Burt’s Bees makes a hand cream that smells exactly like white almond wedding cake. 😂

I'll have to start chopping up my onions like you do! With those corned beef tins you needed the "key opener" thing the other way around so the bit you twist is over the edge of the can! Also my top tip is to rip the label off at the bottom where the cut groove is so that it doesn't add unnecessary thickness as you wind it up!
