Would you please confirm what flour you are using when you say all purpose flour. Is it Indian Meida or is it all purpose flour?? Here in USA meida is completely different than all purpose flour. Ma'am, if we don't have rabdi essence what is the substitute? Will vanilla essence work? And ma'am, what's your cup measurement? 200ml or 250ml or 240ml?

HI Srishti.. In place of rabdi essence you can use cardamom powder in the cake. For cream you can use almond, cardamom or kesar essence. Vanilla is the last option.. even though you can use it the cake won't have that unique indian sweet taste it would taste like any regular cake base :)
