This gentlemen is a very special person and it shows in his deportment and the atmospherics he wishes to convey in his video content. He is very much in-tune on the lighting, underscore, and what appears to be an 'unscripted - script'. Let's celebrate his content on KZbin while we can because assuredly he is going to get picked up by a major network at some point. Happy Hols.

I just adore you my friend. So many of us just need the calm comfort that you bring into our homes. This week in America I am hosting 12 family members for a Thanksgiving feast. I am so excited about my table arrangement and also all the little details that I am hoping to make something so very special for everyone who comes into the warmth of my home.

As an American, I never had a mince pie until moving to Ireland 5 years ago and now they're an important part of the Christmas season for me! Yours really looked exceptional, especially with the tiny squares of marzipan. I don't think I've ever had them made that way, or else I just didn't know it. Although, I love marzipan and think I would have noticed! I would be thrilled to get such a beautiful decoupage gift box filled with homemade truffles for Christmas!

Dear Nicholas thank you for a beautifully done video. My mum is British and married my American soldier dad during WWII. She made every Christmas mincemeat tarts, sausage rolls, and the most beautiful English Christmas cake with marzipan topped with Royal Icing and a miniature Santa, reindeer, snowman and Christmas tree in the center. A lovely childhood memory and seeing you make your miniature tarts filled my heart with joy. I too make mincemeat tarts using the same tart pan my mum used. Love your videos, look so forward to them every week. Beautiful Edinburg and hotel. Happy to be sharing part of your life. I also do decoupage and will have to do a box like this as a gift too. Love using beautiful napkins. Have a lovely weekend and see you soon. Much love from Elaine- Northern California ❤️🙏😘🥰🎄✨😍🐶

Mince pies are British, rather than English, mincemeat has been eaten throughout the British isles, and beyond for hundreds of years. Originally, in medieval times, it was a preserve for meat, hence the name. You minced your meat and preserved it through the winter with high-sugar dried fruits and alcohol, in a style reminiscent of Levantine and North African food. But it often didn’t work and went rancid. Eventually someone worked out that mincemeat was nicer without the meat, and in a pie or tart. Mince pies are an essential element of a British Christmas and are sold by every baker and supermarket, usually in boxes of 6.

Thank you for all of your time and effort sharing your beautiful and creative world with us! I am wondering if you have any ideas about how to store large utensils on the counter? I cannot find any elegant containers or DIY painting projects. I have an old recipe that my grandmother used to make mincemeat. While the recipe calls for ground or minced beef she used half beef and half venison along with the seasonal and dried fruits fortified with distilled spirits, usually whisky. We also have an old recipe for mince that omits the meat in favor of fruits and suet. For us there is a distinct difference between mincemeat and mince pies.
