Brown sugar is simply white sugar with molasses. Next time if tou add white sugar and mean to do brown just mix in a touch of molasses....if you have it hanging around lol

I love oatmeal raisin cookies!! When I was a kid I had a friend who’s mom kept oatmeal raisin cookies in a jar in the kitchen. When I’d sleepover we’d stay up and wait for her mom to fall asleep so we could sneak some 😂😂 now they’re nostalgic to me and I think of that every time I eat them!

Love oatmeal cookies I personally put milk chocolate chips instead of raisins or chocolate covered raisins, but I like to live wild. 😜

If you want good easy granola bars I make my own, they’re super easy! All you need is: vanilla almond granola, some peanut butter, a squeeze or two of honey (I measure all this with my heart 😂), a dash of vanilla extract and some chocolate of your choosing to melt on top. •scoop out some peanut butter into a bowl, squeeze a little honey on top and add the vanilla in as well •microwave until the pb is melted •pour in the granola (I do equal parts pb/granola- all eye balled no real measurement because it depends on how much I’m trying to make) & mix all together •you can either get little silicone molds or just place them on a freezer safe tray in little balls/ whatever shape you mold them to •freeze for 10ish minutes till solid •melt some chocolate & put on top of the granola bars however much you’d like & place back in the freezer till the chocolate hardens I keep them refrigerated cause they’ll melt but they’re a quick and easy snack I make all the time, if you try it I hope you enjoy!! 🧡

I love the water addition (almost?) every damn time, I think the baking recipes I’ve done with water are breads (warm to activate yeast) and pie crust (ice cold to help gather it into a ball) but I think usually, the only drinkable liquid (if anything) is called for in cookies and cakes is a type of fatty milk right? Or am I forgetting something !

Love oatmeal raisin cookies! BTW..when making cookies normally use brown sugar and cold butter. Mix together until combined. Add an egg then vanillla. Dry ingredients normally are flour, salt, baking soda and or baking powder then any spices like cinnamon, or ginger, cloves, nutmeg if doing pumpkin cookies. Enjoy your baking videos but I am yelling directions. Can’t you hear me??!
