I love that you can see the hilarious side of Tourette’s but at the same time, I can see the frustration on your face. Must be so difficult to just do every day things without throwing something across the room. I do feel for you. I also have to admit that your ‘boops’ are cute!

Has more to do with the lack of filter. It's unfortunate because it could be putting a different context in her mind. You could be in her mind comparing to anyone else a different age level which wouldn't be fair. But if you were to compare her to other people her own age she's gorgeous. Just goes to show how you only get a chunk of what the brain is thinking with tourettes without the whole thought

She handles her tourettes perfectly along with her family. They are all just brilliant together. They are able to make light of every situation and every video I watch has me in stiches with laughter. Not at her, but with her. She's hilarious 😂
@lissieehr84406 ай бұрын
Um... i just want to let you know that this is almost definitely fake for the following reasons: If tourettes is a common thing for a family they do not laugh as it is a common thing. And these guys laugh A LOT It is EXTREMELY rare for tics to have anything to do with the setting around them, and this person talks about 'shaking the baby' whilst shaking the egg, which is one of the most unrealistic things i've seen - they also keep referring to the eggs as chicken which, again, very unrealistic. They also talk about how the 'bubbles' tic has developed from hearing someone say it, which doesnt happen. I do not want to hate, everybody does stuff like this especially when the option is open for them. But it really annoyed me when i saw the positive comments and nobody seemed to realise. ty
@ladyT_VR466 ай бұрын
@@lissieehr8440 um... you're wrong, sorry hon. My friend Sam has tourettes and his tics are so similar that it's uncanny. He copes best by finding the funny side in his blurts and tics and encourages us - his friends and family to do the same as he feels more at ease if we giggle at them and trust me, some of the random things he says are absolutely hilarious. His new one is "yoshi is a bummer" amongst other things. Which he says in the most inappropriate places yet are not his fault. The VERY WORST thing we could do he says is A: pretend we didn't hear it B: pretend he didn't say anything C: carry on as if nothing was amiss So hopefully now I've let you know from his angle you might understand the fact that her tourettes is very typical and so is the reaction from her family and friends x

My brother is 38 and has been living with it since 5. It has improved with age, but it is hard. Was especially hard back then because it wasn't even really recognized 30 years ago. Laughter is the best medicine for coping with Tourettes. They have normal to above average IQ's and are capable of anything. Just patience, laughter and a thick skin when jerks judge you or your loved ones in public. We had problems because he would say things like racial slurs even though he isn't a prejudice person. That was the only "serious " problem we ever had. Some people were very understanding, but others couldn't seem to put themselves in another's shoes to just let it slide. Thankfully he has grown out of that in public. In private it still slips sometimes. We laugh to avoid crying is how most families get on.🥰

I started developing tics today and now I finally understand what it's like. Mad respect for anyone who goes through bad tics.
@aubrefry09203 жыл бұрын
Same, I developed tics about a month ago and talked to my therapist about it and she confirmed that it was tics. I don't have motor tics, but I do have some verbal/vocal tics. It's so awfully embarrassing when you're in a quiet classroom and suddenly you're like *click click click*. If you guys know someone who has tics or tourettes please support them and always be kind ☺️ I love you all and have a great day.

just discovered your channel. I have dealt with Tourette's for nearly 30 years of my life now, and I just want to say that, I'm having a good laugh at your videos and I understand how hard things may seem at times so I am extremely grateful that you channel it into comedy. salute my Tourette's kin 🤘🤘
@gigipizzuto40683 жыл бұрын
I think with funny videos she is bring knowledge to people. Tourette is known by majority of people as that syndrome that make you uncontrollably cuss (till several years ago i was guilty as well). Very few people know the real struggle that it can be living with that condition.
@wwar52373 жыл бұрын
@@gigipizzuto4068 yeah the majority believe it's the swearing etc. but that only makes up a tiny percentage of the cases. about 3 years ago I had caused major nerve damage because of my neck movements. to this day there are times I can't move my fingers. I wish the media would report the facts and stop using the sensationalist wording by always mentioning the cussing cases.
@destroyingeternals3 жыл бұрын
(Tw because this might be triggering) I agree with you, having people say “i want Tourette’s because i get to swear” makes me sad, I started developing my tics around the month of may due to lack of sleep and constantly working on school work and not giving my brain a break, seeing people say that hurts me alot because the first time i ticced was the most stressful day for my parents because everyone was panicking, and i cried because i made my father cry and upset because he suffers from epilepsy and doesn’t want me going through what he goes through. I never tic around people, i only tic when my parents and or siblings arent home and around my friend because she also has tics. I suppress them alot and im trying to get out of the habit cause i know its unhealthy. And watching these types of videos gets me in a good mood because it reminds me how im still valid even if i cant tell anyone :^)

I always feel bad for laughing at some of these because I know it’s hard to deal with, but I always wonder, is it rude to laugh or do you make these videos for the intention of making people laugh?
@yumnamb4 жыл бұрын
Don't worry!! She's making these videos to make us laugh and be aware of how tourette's is too at the same time!!

i think the goal is to make entertaining content that makes us laugh alongside with her family, while also showing a more realistic and honest side of tourette's thats usually ignored by media ! so you shouldnt feel bad for being entertained :-)
