Vegetable oil works better. Then dust it with a teaspoon or so of flour and tap it around. The cake will release perfectly.

He’s not some egotistical guy who wants everyone to think he’s a genius. He’s on the spectrum and he actually has a natural talent for mathematics. He was let down by the education system for sure but his fascination with numbers is genuine. He figured out a lot of things by himself and it’s super impressive. His speech patterns and ways of expressing himself are pretty typical of someone with high functioning autism. He’s not trying to sound smart, that’s just the way he talks. And he’s not weird, he’s just wired a bit differently. A lot of people have come to love and understand him through his videos over the years and don’t find him confusing at all.
