I'm saying that I've spent a good bit of time with people on the spectrum and I notice that a lot of them tend to resort to sedentary hobbies like video games and hermit-ing because they are not accepted in society and learning to socialize is hard for them. It's much easier for them to put their energy into whatever topics they're interested in, leaving little time for other things that people would consider important.

I don't think he's ocd. Id say aspy. From the vids Ive seen. People with ocd are well aware they have it, He has a fixation on certain things, numbers, he has trouble relating to people's social cues. He sensitive to noise and textures.. Thats not ocd
@UlillilliaArchive5 жыл бұрын
He has been diagnosed with both OCD and asperger's by doctors
@MarioMastar5 ай бұрын
Actually he is well aware of his OCD and has extensively documented it on his site. He actually denies having autism (or did on his site) but you can't self diagnose autism easily cause to the autist, you don't realize what you're doing is abnormal until others tell you it's abnormal. Aspergers is just a matter of being ultra meticulous for the sake of accuracy and making more connections about solutions at the cost of speed. OCD is doing the same thing over and over without deviation to achieve a result and refusing to deviate from the result due to fear or severe discomfort, which more accurately describes what Uli's issue is. He has overcome some of the more self-destructive tendencies though. as OCD can be mitigated through understanding and therapy. Autism/Aspergers is a physical brain condition and will never be curable, but frankly doesn't have to be. it's not a disease or disorder. and as for his social nature, he's gotten very social lately, starting with living with Alex Yard for awhile and has been around, worked a real job for awhile too at Walmart and a few other places and is now working at UPS willfully to save money for his own place. He's doing well now, just has mostly moved on from social media to get his life in order.

i think it’s what lives inside the mirror, so not the reflection
@MarioMastar5 ай бұрын
It's particularly mirrors themselves. He is fine with seeing his reflection in water or in shiny surfaces. I forgot what he said his method of seeing himself was, I think he turns off his computer monitor and can look at himself that way, but it's Mirrors themselves. Not sure if he ever got over it. One fairly recent video had him bitterly yelling about how his parents put a mirrored wardrobe in the path of the main hallway effectively trapping him and he sounds extremely stressed out in it, like on the verge of tears. Mirrors in games and media don't affect him though. He can look at pictures of mirrors and on TV. just not the actual object.

Though he claimed he doesn't like the idea of working from home because he likes the social interaction, which he feels is really necessary to cure his depression of being alone for so long. as a techie for the past 10 years....I agree with him. I don't mind working from home (and prefer it) but mostly due to commuting but I really LOVE seeing my coworkers and the office is a nice space. When people try to argue capitalism is a failed system, I point them to this video. This video is clear evidence that capitalism is the absolute best system. No other method of governance and economics would allow such a person as this to exist. Only a system where someone who can't sit in chairs, look in mirrors, and requires a constant supply of dryer sheets on his KB/M can still thrive because another individual has the freedom to pay him $10/hr to clean up an alleyway. Under socialism there's no private property and everybody 'must' have a job and so people like poor U-dawg here would probably be sent out into the wilderness to die for being a "white supremacist."
