Delicious & Quick Fluffy Apple Cake / Easy Recipe

I made two of these today, a gluten free and a normal one, side by side. I put 3 eggs instead of two and just bunged the rest of the ingredients in the bowls. The G/F one was amazing, so light and fluffy. I’m so glad I found this recipe. Thank you. 🙏🏻💕

As promised, I did try out this recipe yesterday. I increased the measurements to a ratio based on 3 apples, and naturally used a larger baking tin. The cake turned out amazing!!!! The only difference to the appearance was that I placed the apples in a circle over the batter and they kept their pattern till completely baked which looked amazing!!! Do watch your oven temperature... You may need to lower it for the last 15 minutes, because I did. I served it with vanilla ice-cream and everyone loved it🤗 I certainly recommend this recipe to all👌

You're right about oven temperature, I also tried ot, ot came out amazingly as well, tasty and fluffy, but I realized it could have been even more moist had my oven temperature been a little lower, but it was amazing still. Thank you for sharing this recipe ❤️❤️🙏🏾

Thanks for the video. They taste really good with olive oil margarine, though your recipe was great at being healthy. I enjoyed trying it as my initiation into baking with something edible at the end.. Air fryers are great as you do not feel so guilty about heating such a big appliance. I used 60ml sunflower oil but maybe another one would have given a better taste. I used a rectangular silicone mould and some 3 smaller round ones. I think I would use all metal dishes in the future. It was a bit hit and miss with my asda 6.2l air fryer and I used 180 for 25 minutes as the tops appeared as if they were going to "burn" at the top of the cupcake ones. I reduced the temperature to 160, and it still overall needed 40 mins or so total cooking time. .

fab recipe 😋 made a slight change in have put quarter of a teaspoon cinnamon in cake mix and have poured butterscotch and pecan sauce on top after the cake has cooled off 😋😋😋 the cake is delicious either way its made and thanx so much for it

I attempted to follow this recipe but I used measuring cups because where I come from grams are only for solids and mls are for liquids which equate to very different measurements. It’s in the oven so we will see how it turns out. Thanks for the video.

Besides apple, can I use other fruits eg. strawberries, blueberries, can peaches ie. discard the syrup & slice the peaches thinly or dried seedless prunes soaked in hot water etc.? Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. It looks yummy!😊

I didn't have yogurt so I added an extra egg. The cake came out spongy and moist, however, I saw that you sat the apples on top of the cake. I did that too. Unfortunately, they stayed on top and never sunk into the cake. Therefore, I did not have apple cake. I had cake with apples sitting on top. Nice cake, but disappointing. Next time I will sink the apples into the cake or just plain mix them with the batter before putting them in the baking pan. I am eating the cake now. It needs more sugar and I will also use cinnamon next time too.

It's very easy and cheap to get scales. If you wish to bake more than once in your lifetime you should do yourself a favour and buy one.

@@canuck33 What did I say that's not true?? Is America so backward you can't find a set of scales? I bought one in Australia for $16 that converts to all systems just by tapping on the scale. Read something properly before ridiculing what I said. What you write makes no sense and helps no one. I notice some of your other replies are nonsense too. You also rubbished the person who was trying to differentiate between liquid measure and dry measure, such as sugar and flour. A lot of recipes are wrong in saying liquids are measured in grams. They should be measured in mls. Go back to school because you can't even speak English properly

Depends on what part of the world you are from in the UK 🇬🇧 we use grams. In US they use cups. I find googling helps when needing to change cups to grams no problem 😊
