Had she been even a second later, Zennet would’ve had Drago in her hands and likely warped away without any hesitation. From there, Drago would’ve eventually made it to Kazarina who likely would’ve extracted the Element from him and found a way to give it to Dharak like she did with his DNA strand later during the arc on Gundalia. At that point, Dharak likely would’ve evolved and been too powerful for anyone to oppose him considering an unevolved Dharak almost beat Drago as he is now. A Julie-Ex-Machina literally saved the universe

In season 1, yeah they had to be careful, but in season 2's battle system, which got carried over to 3, your goal is to have a higher power level than the opponent and take down their life of 500 pts. For each point you're over the opponent's bakugan when you defeat them, that's a life point lost by the opponent. It was an attempt to remove throwaway bakugan by making sure you cared about the power level you lose by and the power of your own bakugan

Even the Perfect Dragonoid of Vestroia/New Vestroia is only just above the power-level of the average Bakugan from Neathia or Gundalia. As such, it's not so easy for Drago to win outright as the Bakugan he's facing now are almost as powerful as he is. And since Dharak is on a whole other level to even these Bakugan, Dharak would wipe the floor with the Perfect Dragonoid just like he did with a more powerful version of Drago later in the season.

@tentifan27 well, in new vestroia it made sense for them to change since their former partners were caught and turned into statues, and at the end of during the show elfin said she would only help Marucho get Preyus back so thats why elfin isn't in it, skyress died I think and shuns other partner in that season probably wanted to stay in vestroia and the bakugan from season 1 all wanted to only visit, I would say more but I can't write anything else because of the typing counting thingy

If Zenet tried to, not only would the jig be up, but she'd have two athletic people right there, ready to grab her. That's not to mention that Dan is shown to have quick reflexes, meaning he'd be able to react and keep Zenet from taking Drago. Basically, there were way too many factors against Zenet that would put the odds of her straight up stealing Drago, right out of Dan's hand successfully to be very low.
