Keep in mind that those apartments cost an arm and a leg. Most Parisians live in small 30-40m² apts. Interesting fact about how Paris was rebuilt: those big avenues were made so that troops could easily get into town and control the streets. A lesson learned after the 1848 revolution, when the then small streets of Paris were easily barricaded.

I adore Modern Parisian design. We just started planning a remodel of our kitchen. I would like to use this style with light wood, stainless steel appliances, and taupe quartz counters. I have big windows facing north. What light paint color on the walls will work with ash cabinet doors? The adjoining, but separate rooms are a dark taupe.

One thing to keep in mind is that north light has a tendency to make colors appear cooler so, depending on the look you're going for, you'll want to adjust for that. Definitely test several samples in the space with all of your other finish samples.
