I haven’t used a DM screen for years I agree the dice don’t need to be fudged.

About the DM screen ~ I've been thinking of ditching mine as well. I roll outside the screen for "transparency", and I find that I end up standing for the entire session so that I can see over the screen. I'm also standing up so I can see the map & minis, as well as drawing new areas of the map. I don't even use the screen for any tables, so the only purpose it serves is keeping my maps and notes hidden.

@@robodad1 out of curiousity, how often do you use your DM screen for anything besides hiding your notes and maps?

I pin stuff to both sides of mine. Players side= conditions and XP table and Magic Items price brackets. My side = npc voices, npc names, player info. Initiative rolls. Things to remember
