The succubi and inccubi being androgynous is actually quite creative actually, so much more to do with them now. (And no im not necessarily talking about the NSFW stuff that these demons are known for 😅)

The rakshasha have always had their hands be backwards, with their palms where the back of their hands should be. It’s not ai weirdness (for all I know the image could be ai but the hands at the very least are intentional)

@ I remember when I first learned about them that was one of the first things I heard about them, it’s on the forgotten realms wiki and it’s one of the first things describing their portrayal in dnd in their Wikipedia entry (most of the entry is focused on for Hindu/buddhist mythological creature but the dnd monster is mentioned under “in fiction”)

@@robodad1 When my old DM threw one at us as a stalker to our party, as soon as my character learned the tidbit about their hands, he made it a habit to greet people with a handshake, since Disguise Self doesn't hold up to physical inspection.

I am really looking forward to the Monster Manual. I think the DMs Guide and the Players Handbook are both fantastic improvements so now we just need those monsters. The art in particular looks really good.

The succubus and the incubus can both be male and female? lol.

Oh ha yeah! I mean the succubus can now be both male and female and the same with the incubus
@Trencher13757 күн бұрын
@@robodad1 That was what I meant. Because succubi and incubus are the same creature. Just like cow and ox the different genders have different names.
