@@tsawy6 Rejoice as in the next patch, stakes are changed so that scaling boosters & -1 hand size are replaced with some detrimental Joker stickers, which won't harm you when Jokerless, so Prof might one day really do this.

I love the challenges in this game, but watching this decreased my confidence even more of ever completing the standard jokerless challenge, where I cannot roll for an Ace weighted deck. I managed to pull through the first few antes with some lucky Mercury and Strength cards, but fell flat by Ante 4... Any tips for that one?

Just going in on a high scaling and easy to play hand is a strong strat. I just leveld 3oaks as much as i could to win( did also use 2 glass cards for the final boss)

something to keep in mind is that doing this with normal decks allows jokers to show up in the shop, where as the challenge variant of it has it so no jokers can show up at all, which makes you get a TON of tarot cards and planet cards, making it much easier. mercury isnt a very good choice since pair doesnt scale very well, going jupiter for the flushes, or even neptune for straight flushes are the two builds i found most consistent.

That's about where I am too, I always lose by ante 3 or 4. It just doesn't scale up fast enough.

Make sure not to underestimate planet cards, and preferably pick one that has good scaling. Naked Flush and any hands with only +1 mult will run out of steam pretty quickly (unless you get an early steels and observatory like Prof's Checkered Jokerless), probably a good time to get used to Full Houses and especially Straights, or find Ouija

Perhaps, id be interested to see some failes runs too, but the rerolling is a bit unnecessary. Holding r 9 times isnt particularly hard
