Balboa Park and Daly City Stations (Weekend Service)

Fascinating! I can watch London tube/underground videos for hours. I almost didn't make it through 2 minutes of Balboa Park Station - the structure is so 60s-brutalist and the color scheme is beyond minimalist. I'm glad I stayed with it, however, because the last minute or so of Daly City Station made me smile.

Well, I'm glad you liked it! I honestly kind of like the minimalism of Balboa Park, but mostly because it's the only BART station that's more unique. As for the driver at Daly City not lining up (if that's what you're talking about), it also made me smile when filming it.

Yes. It's kind of a "stand behind the yellow line" warning for people who don't hear the announcements saying that the train is approaching.

It is standard procedures that the train opreators sound the horns before they enter the station.

Yes they do not have railroad crossing so the horn is to clear everybody away from the yellow line for there safety

No, express trains in BART wouldn't be logical, as stations are more than mile apart from each other.
