Balcony Transformation inspired by Pinterest! Tiny Balcony Makeover in India | Tanya Khanijow

An extreme Balcony Transformation! This is something that I wanted to do ever since I moved into my new house. I really wanted to create this balcony space into a nice and cozy corner for me to host myself over coffee and maybe even my friends for the festive season. The balcony offers such a good view of trees, so it surely deserves a nice decor in my opinion. To make it a little more interesting, I decided to build a frame around it using CPVC pipes so I can hang decor items from it. The challenge was that I couldn’t have done any drilling or extreme construction, since I live in a rented apartment. But I feel the overall look of the place turned out quite nice! As another challenge, I also set a budget for myself for the whole transformation. The net budget at my disposal was ₹11862. Mentioned below is a list of everything that I bought specifically for the transformation.

Good, Tanya! Being interested in India I accidentally found your channels. What is people lacking is the information about real India. It looks like there are too many videos about slums and trash. This stereotype of India is hard to disprove. However, I believe, there are some videos, including yours, show the other side of the country. Could you share more of your videos or recommend others where people could just see your neighborhood, the yard, the playground, the streets, the interiors and exteriors of Indian houses, apartment buildings, shops, schools of different towns, villages and cities. Get a small table clamp or anvil. It will help you keep the pipe in place when you cut through it.

Nice work you are doing, for cutting pipes or anything else you can buy a table vice or f clamp to hold the pipe while you cut it, it will make your job alot easier.

You might also want to run a nylon rope all along inside the pipe to add strength to the structure. I case any of the pipes break, the rope inside it will resist it falling off your balcony. - Regards Azeem
