Nice fade bro.. I started cutting my hair 3 years ago, I found that an open guard zero to start the line for the fade works best, to fade in the line easier. For tapers it's better closed guard since it's easier to fade that small area.

Great fade but go from closed to open after you have your guide line set. It works better for 2 reasons. You get a better cut with it closed and You reset your bottom guide line it works so much better to make the fade blend. doesn’t make sense to go half then closed you’ll just create another line you’ll have to work harder to get rid of
@michaelserrano5562 Жыл бұрын
So you are saying after the no guard closed then go 1/4 then to a half???
@Christian_counsel Жыл бұрын
@@michaelserrano5562 no set your lines. But once you have them set to get rid of them go closed to open. I always start closed to reestablish the line then work my way open. He’s doing it opposite. Of course it’s possible the fade came out great but it’s a lot more work and hard to get the lines out doing it that way.

@@Christian_counsel Its called fading down. Actually more effective than fading up imo. Everybody has their own way of doing things.
