@@F_Dot_ Just put some tunes on and it goes quick tbh, just make sure you're patient while fading... i f'd myself up the first time and said f'k it and just balded myself lol... nowadays it takes me like 30 to 40 mins for a decent fade.

This is by far the best tutorial. No one tells you how to position your hand, to cut the beard and separate it, where to start…etc…this is the best video ive watched 10 today no lie…the mirror is confusing but you deff helped me understand this better. Thanks man. I really want to figure this out by myself. Not even to save money…i spent 150 on the set up…but to also just to be able to have a clean fade every day and save a hour trip to the barber

Damn this is a good video. I used to do my own simple cut, but wouldn't fade it all nice like this. Went back to the barber this year and spent about $250 on just 5-6 cuts. That's crazy. You can buy a whole ass BaByliss set with that + the fold out mirror and never go back to the barber. I bought some Hatteker clippers a couple years ago and they have been amazing. They never pull hairs whereas Wahls like this are known to pull. Just ordered an Andis foil shaver to help out with the fades and cut down time. Really liked the guideline work in this video. Thanks for the tips, bro.

@darkhorse2reign
@darkhorse2reign 5 ай бұрын
Really nice step by step. I appreciate this. I have a few comments based on learning from a lot of other videos and trying this on myself: 1) Your skin is loose so use one hand to hold your scalp tight like you did with your beard. 2) Go on ahead and go skin tight. Your fade is real nice so skin tight makes it extra crispy. 3) You hair on the sides doesn't grow fwd. It grows DOWN from the crown of your head. 😂. That shit made me laugh but I think it may not matter as much for white hair. You good tho. 4. Use the comb every now and again to make sure the hairs are still straight and ready to be cut. But I think w white hair it doesn't matter as much as it does for mine. 5. I like that 3 panel mirror. I need that in my life even though I can get away with just a handheld. 6. This cutting my own hair is a little addictive. And fun to try different techniques. Yours is a little more confusing for me but I'm still learning.
@HedgeFund_Manager
@HedgeFund_Manager 10 күн бұрын
Lol not everyone's hair grows the same way buddy.. if it did then cowlicks wouldn't exist. Plus the hair on the side of your head doesnt grow down from your crown lol wtf.. the hair on the side of your head, grows out from the side of your head. Then for most ppl it grows downwards. But not everyones. I mean you can clearly see from watching this guy's video that the hair growing out from the side of his head grows toward his face, not downwards
