🇧🇴 When I order a taxi I don't want much. I don't need a fancy car or even decent music. What I do expect however is that the driver will at least know where he is going! And then not overcharge me at the end of the ride. Unfortunately I met this guy and, well see for yourself...

tried it in turkey with me and i just stepped out the car and walked off as i knew where i was in that town, the man tried to grab my arm so i turned and cornered him against a wall and said what are you going to do? so he just walked off back to the taxi. pretty basic scam but you dont see it often or hear about it, probably because most think its genuine.

itsKarlDesigns here in Bolivia taxi fares are relatively cheap, paying 10 dollars for a ride is a lot. Normal rides, even all the way across the city at night will cost you 3-5$ at most.

I remember this bus station in 2014. Brings back so many memories watching this. That feeling of shouting/heckling that echoes through the station of people advertising their buses. Bald is such amazing traveller. Be careful of getting gringo taxed while there so many places will try it! Me and my friends just gave them the normal prices for things and walked away people give up most of the time if you do that
