Thank you for this. I've been stressing for the past few years about it, but I recently have come to this realization, that it doesn't matter that I'm only 19, I shouldn't be afraid of shaving my hair when the time comes. I've stopped comparing myself to others, I just want to be myself

I always love watching these reinventing videos. I even make a playlist of my favorite shaves. I started balding at my sweet 16s but it hasn't progressed as fast as that guy in the video. But when the time comes, and I am definitely ready, I will shave my head. Bald is bold, beautiful, and ubiquitous, guys. Legit we never pay mind bald guys when we were young, only when we overfixate on our hairloss, do we panic. But such, life is so much larger than our locks

This happened to a guy I went to high school with, he was 16/17 too and it was noticeable then. His answer was to get built and as in great shape as he could. I saw a picture of him years later and he shaved his head and was still in great shape/muscular. My heart goes out to guys that go through this at such a young age.

Started balding at 19 and life has been brutal ever since. I'm 30 now and I've fully come to terms with the fact that it's completely game over for me as it pertains to my dating life so all I do now is cope with the gym and video games. Hopefully I can get a Dog soon to help with the crippling loneliness.

I suspect your hair has nothing to do with it. No confidence and a negative attitude are two things women pick up on. If you cant change those two things just fake it until you make it. Good luck.

super respect for someone just getting over the inevitable wall. I'm subscribed because my husband needs these sorts of videos for his own MPB,... Boob jobs don't take the same amount of work as male hairline maitinence, but the cost are similar. My own mum she blew a lot of the money on her chest dad gave her for my sister and I. Nothing makes you hate maintenance heavy plastic surgery; and sorry, hair plugs and hormone treatments are that too; like having the power be shut off in a 6 bedroom manor house at a 13 year old kid. It's a bunch of fuzz you don't need to deal with as a young person.

Its one thing to find some silver lining or level of acceptance to keep propelling yourself forward in life but we don't need to be delusional about it. Balding still sucks and we definitely do not look better, in my case, with a receded hairline.

@@МаксимК-я4ы Damn... Hope it's stabilized for you now. I've noticed for me that I started visibly losing hair at 22, now at 31 I've somehow stabilized with finasteride and minoxidil. Been on topical finasteride for 7 months so far, noticed improvements in the past two months.

@@МаксимК-я4ыAI can't tell the shape of your head. I know it's hard, but trust me when I say that you are likely fortunate enough to have the head shape to compliment your face. Damn that's fucked up. Can't imagine doing baldness speedrun at 17. I'd be chugging that finasteride ngl even tho it's probably bad for you when you're that young. My hairline started to receed when I was 18, but now 9 years later I am still only Norwood 2 technically, it's noticeable that my hair is thining, I think it's called diffuse thining, but It still looks good for now if you style it well. Started taking finasteride recently, like literally two weeks ago, can't speak about any experience with it yet, but one thing is certain is that I don't worry about going bald anymore.
