I’m waiting for an orin style changling. Saw the mods last night, downloaded a few, noticed that there was only a couple and most quality of life really so turned the console off and went to bed. Not worth starting a character to use the new mods until there is a much bigger selection.

Yep, I kind of hated the fact that a large number of clothes and underwear were only available in the last 1/4 of the game! (IE you have to be a fair way through act 3 before you get to the person who sells these) Its not like they change the game play so it really didn't make sense.

Honestly the thing im most excited for is the potential for goofy mods. Ive seen certain mods like the ones that turn your companion's faces "handsome" wjth the super pouty lips and chisled jawlines that id love to install for a co op playthrough with a friend. I need goofy mods like that to suprise my bud with. It will be glorious. So i hope stuff like that is/will be available. Side note though for real. Good on whoever made the paladins have gods mod. I feel like im alone on this, but i like the idea of paladins requiring a deity, or some kind of higher power in order to... well get their powers. It makes so much more sense to me than just gettimg power from nothing because you swore an oath.

What I mean is, if more mods get onto console that feature content pulled from official d&d material, stuff that was beyond the scope larian had permission for originally, there could be problems. An example, if someone added sub classes from the new edition of d&d, or added all the extra monsters from volo's guide to monsters etc. Anything that takes wizards of the coasts IP material beyond what was originally in bg3, could start to raise eyebrows quickly. And I can imagine them seeing it as a threat to their fully online, micro transaction driven economy that they're trying to build on d&d beyond etc. Because people are meant to pay for access to all that. It doesn't matter if we agree with it, it matters what they're likely to find a threat to their bottom line if there are much better alternatives to d&d beyond, like bg3 in some cases

I'm excited, I probably won't overdo it with Mods. I'd say for uncapped Party Limit increasing it to 6 does already a lot, won't add Mods which add specific NPC Visuals(like Hair, Eye Colour or similar) since Gale's Hairstyle has an similar Variant in the Base Game called "Waterdavian Scholar" or something similar which looks to me just like Gale's Hairstyle

The color mods for the armor, skin, eyes and hair of the characters and npcs are great but damn if the most satisfying mod is that of the Paladins who can choose their deity. Finally! Finally no longer a level in Cleric to have the title Paladin of X deity. And among other things now romance with Shadowheart, playing as a Paladin of Vengeance with the tag Selune/Paladin of Selune.

@@Fusehoundenjoyer Unfortunately I've only had the chance to test it with Shadowheart at the moment, and you have the Selune tag. Ergo the mod actually allows you to have the romance with her as a Selunite as a Paladin instead of a Cleric with all the versatility of the case

I am hoping that we will get the divine soul sorcerer subclass, it is one of my favorite subclasses in dnd 5e due to the backstory and how you can play a sorcerer as a healer. It is also perfect to make one of the best healing builds in dnd 5e when you include 2 levels of celestial warlock and one level of life domain cleric.

Once console gets a transmog mod I’ll be quite happy. The early additions are already pretty sweet looking. Even if I don’t muck around with level 20 add ons one of the biggest annoyances for me after so many playthroughs is how slowly I level in act 1 when I know virtually every encounter and quest tree to get my level up to 5 and so on as fast as possible. Double xp is huuuuuge.

@@trugear5766 I'd say the same amount, but if I remember correctly the mods have to be approved by sony and microsoft and they have to make sure they are compatible and mostly bug free at launch. But that's from what I know.

Well when Ark started getting mods on console there was a good 5/10 mods every day and that’s not half the size of balders gates player base so it’s not as hard as people think to get mods certified

Ive been trying them since last night. Have a few bugs but preety good mods. Biggest issues are mostly half the mod loading especially hair mods. Mystic class is broken though. Wont load all my dice either but its still new. Ill see what happens. Mystic class is amazing and so fun.

Looked right at these yesterday but cool that you made a video about the different mods, cause I was not sure for many what they would do. Installed the lvl 20 and double xp mod right away on my evil durge run where I just hit level 12 on monday with still some quests open to do and reached level 13 yesterday. Directly hyped to start a new run after I'm done with evil durge, hopefully Artificer is available then. Harengon Race is not even finished for pc so I think I'll have to wait a long time for it to be on console XD I will now check daily in the mod manager if there is something new. Also have you seen the animation Larian put online yesterday? I laughed so hard because of it XD

The mystic wasn’t working right It was tagging your spell casting modifier to your dex instead of int. Making all your spells miss or be saved.

One of the current mods that I'm using appears to completely break wildshape for Halsin and Jahyra. They only have the earliest forms available, despite being level 12. Halsin also does not seem to have access to his cave bear form. Does anyone know which mod may be causing this?

If they dont put Appearance edit enhanced on ps5 at some point, i'll be profoundly sad for the rest of my existence ... I want to make Astarion looks like a gothic vampire, and give Gale a properly magician gray beard, would love to change Wyll and Shadowhart faces too
