Nah its clear theyre a very physically affectionate bunch and are close friends. Theyre always kissing on the cheek and hugging and smothering each other, neil included. Jen even says that neil tried to hug her when they first met DURING THE PANDEMIC And says that its "classic neil". Lol i just think theyre all seem very comfortable with each other.

It makes me so happy every time I see these actors being so protective, so caring and so invested in nurturing characters I have come to love in over 2300 hours of game time. I first played a video game when I was 6 years old, I just turned 50, in all those years of gaming I feel I can say that Baldur's Gate 3 is the best game I ever played. You can feel the care and attention and dedication in a game environment that feels so welcoming and so tuned to the player, in characters so carefully crafted and performed. Is it perfect? No, because there is no such thing. But it is a magnificent piece of collaborative art in the video game genre.

you may also really like Divinity Original Sin: 2 if you haven't played it yet! i was lost after Baldur's Gate 3 and DOS2 scratches the itch, at least, in my opinion. it's like BG3, Dragon Age: Origins, and more text-based / less cinematic games, had a baby. nothing compares to Baldur's Gate 3 though because of course Larian just gets better and better!!

I love that Aliona is there. She has just as much right. Directors do so much to help the actors bring the characters to life. Seems a challenging but rewarding job. Im fsscinated by the behind the scenes process of making a game like that. Also the fact we got the best throuple + Neil in this panel is the best.

Assuming you mean Larian... they didn't abandon it. What are you talking about? They're working on a new patch to add content for Evil endings, and have confirmed plans to add a photo mode, mod support, and of course additional bug fixes. Once they've done that - which, at present, they have every intention to - work on the game will be complete (and obviously you can't abandon a finished project).

BG3 shows a few dei-woke traits especially in act3, but fortunately it's not detrimental to the story and the game's overall quality. If BG3 really had gone full woke, the game never would have met such a massive success. Truly woke games are failing hard. Look at Concord and Dustborn for example, massive flops.
