Lol for leveling up Wyll, he is a Warlock class which mostly uses "Eldritch Blasts" which is like shotgun spell that you can level up (its the spell you used at 51:44). At 23:21 you notice there's passive abilities to level up your Eldritch Blast so it can be stronger. Wyll can cast it an unlimited number of times too. The higher his Charisma, the stronger his Eldtrich Blast is.

For act 2 (Shadow cursed Lands + Moonrise Tower) you need at least Lv6 in order to survive ...and you are currently at Lv4 There is still lots to do in the Act 1 area You didn´t have been everywhere on this current map of Faerun + you didn´t have been everywhere in the Underdark area = you didn´t have been in the Adamant Forge area named Grymforge at all Doing all that you will reach Lv6..then do the mountain pass which will end act1

Yeah lol 1:09:18 That book gave you the ability to "Speak with Dead" permanently so if you check your spells then youll notice you can cast it without wasting spell slots. Also youre not cursed since you passed the roll so thats good lol. Keep the book because theres a lot more to it throughout the game. All the choices you make now in Act 1 will effect choices later on in Act 2 and Act 3.

LOL i knew Laezel would die, but on some good news, you can revive her with a ressurection scroll which i highly recommend doing before you move on to Act 2

Regarding dropping weapons or being frightened and dropping weapons, 1. I usually keep two similar type weapons on my team, just incase weapon drops occur. 2. ShadowHeart has an ability to "Calm Feelings" Use that so no one on your team can be frightened into dropping any weapons, or frighten into running away. You may need this if you fight some githyankis in the future.

I think maybe the ogre thing was a glitch. It didn't work for me either. Too bad you didn't meet laezel first. If you met her much earlier in the game and sent her to camp, you could've got a legendary weapon. She can't be with you, and you'll also need the command drop spell. You still handled that fight though! I hated that fight!

Gale reminds me too much of my brother to flirt with. My favorites are definitely Karlach and Shadowheart, though I don't blame anyone for falling for Astarion. Neil really killed his lines in the game.

Lol btw before you go to the Mountain Pass, you have an entire area south of the "Blighted Village" that you missed. Same with north of it. You should also be leveled high enough to do the Underdark. The Mountain Pass might be a bit harder lol. But feel free to do whatever you feel like bro. Just make sure you dont go to "Act 2" before you finish exploring Act 1.

tbh for Wyll, his best pact is pact of the blade. it allows him to bind himself to ANY weapon and he will be able to use it and it will scale off his charisma stat. you can use the ogres up to 3 times anywhere in act 1 before the mountain pass. also you can go to both underdark and mountain pass to get to moonrise towers. the game makes it seem like you can only do one way, but that's not true. anybody can use the horn and also scrolls.

There’s a bunch of stuff you haven’t done, which would help you level up before the next area. But, it’s not necessary, the fights will just be tougher against any gith you encounter. They have the most brutal fights.

You have constantly improved alot man! That Spiderfight and the hardcore gith-fight at the end really showed that you got this. Before you head up in the next area definetly explore the map a little more in the south and maybe you should check out a "Barn" next to an ox at waukeens rest 😉 I enjoy your playthrough bro keep it up!❤

Act 1 is gobos camp , the under dark and the mountain pass you can do all three to get better gear and stories and quests to prepare you for act 2. its not one way only. just an FYI and i hope it helps.

Btw, Laezel is a companion you could have found immediately at the beginning before you found the Grove. She was very close to where Gale was. She has some funny interactions with Shadowheart, but not sure if you missed those since you found her later on. Those to have interesting banter when they're both in your party lol.

Ayo fam, during the battles if youre ever confused on what "status condition" someone has, you can click the Square button on them and hit "examine". That will tell you what all the character's conditions mean + their weaknesses + resistances.

If you hadn't triggered the romance option with Shadowheart yet, that would've played at the party. So your gut instinct was right, there could've been a cutscene! 😊

Don't feel like chatting with NPCs is wasting time! You'll miss out on a lot of side quests that way. Chat it up with NPCs that aren't the main companions, there are some reoccurring characters you won't care about throughout the game if you don't talk to people. Also, companions don't need the exclamation point above their head for them to have new dialogue. They usually have new stuff to say after events or new locations being discovered. You don't have to discover everything your first playthrough but I do think you might miss out on a bunch of interactions if you don't start yapping with folks more often. All in all, interactions are a huge part of this game, yap with the NPCs, it isn't a waste of time and it's enjoyable to watch imo.

2:16:49 Yeah that dude broke your concentration which is why the spell ended. Some spells are "Concentration spells" which means you have to focus on keeping that 1 spell active. If they hit you hard enough, they can break your concentration and the spell ends.
