The Karlach model looks like a temporary placeholder, as if they wanted to change it from the very beginning.

could be, they changed many of the models from the first early access, i have clips of Gale, Halsin and Minthara who all look different.

I remember in early access i really liked the model for Karlach, but now it does look weird as the new model just suits her so well

I think the early access model just looks like any other of the Tieflings at the Grove, so I think they wanted to make her stand out. Also because no way that after 10 years fighting in Avernus she wouldn’t have a bunch of scars and be at least a bit of a muscle-mommy 🤭

I’m glad they cleaned up the lines/manuscript too! The early access version is way too quiet and the characters tend to ramble on 🤓

agreed the polish from early access to full release is very good

This is just the difference between having Wyll in the party or not. This was how it played out my first playthrough in April.

@@tiph3802 the video primarily shows the difference between early access and full release, but also Wyll was not full working at full release so the final scene often did not trigger, he was so broken for me I couldn’t take him out of camp, so I included the scene as comparison to the ea scene.

Ah yes Will doing the ol "Im supposed to hunt you but I WILL turn my back entirely to you multiple times during our conversation to ask the other party members questions" .... I liked the release version better. It feels like they tampered with it too much

I fully agree, i also dont understand why she had an axe on her back at release but now has nothing it feels unfinished.

I’m pretty sure she reacted similarly at release if you had Wyll with you. You didn’t seem to have Wyll in the release clip here? 🤔 But it is weird that Wyll turns so much, normally it’s just his head that turns, but maybe because he is in that squatting pose with his blade out it looks weird if just his head turns 🤔 Also in my clip of this from recently, she still has her big ax on her back, so I’m not sure why it’s not visible on yours. Maybe it’s like how some people can get Voss to drop his silver sword in act 1, but others can only get him to drop his bow? 🤔

@@elenalizabeth I did have a few bugs with Wyll at release so unfortunately didn’t manage to take him out with the party. Strange about the disappearing axe, just a minor bug I guess.
