It makes sense when you see where they came from. They went through a lot of hardship making their first self-published game but once they got through it, each game has been bigger and better. And the development cycle for Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 really prioritized quality above all else. They really just seem to want to make good games; and the games that come out of that motive just happen to make money.

listening to your explanation of what you wanted to accomplish while touring larian's studio is, again, exactly why your opinion is something i can place some value upon and simply take at face value. I think I posted once already about how awesome I thought it was that they invited you over. Sadly I used to have a similar opinion of CDprojekt Red at one stage and I want so dearly to think that Larian is one of the last companies out there who has their first goal to produce a quality product that follows certain expectations from their base community to whom their product will appeal to and then somewhere decently down the list of priorities lands monetization. Companies WILL make profit if they focus on making a game that doesn't betray what the customer base wants....you should be making products with your clientele 100% in mind and in turn your stock holders or investors will get satisfaction when it ultimately comes to fruition and people receive what is released positively. I've personally purchased BG3 EA three times so far, once for myself and twice for others, one being a friend what introduced BG2 to me way back during a sleepover when i was a young man and another from a friend i know only online but we like many things similarly and i knew he would love it. I put my money where my mouth is. I, still, have kept the excitement i originally got from the potential this game showed me and anticipate this final product as larian studios has shown a reason to believe they'll put a finished quality product free of the typical nonsense we expect above all else from other game developers. its nice again to have something i look forward to as growing older has taken all my hobbies and joys away its nice to have that child like excitement again. cant wait guys, please dont pull a cdprojekt red. whatever is going on be honest with your community and youll not lose trust and support even if things can't be what is really envisioned, although Im fairly certain you didnt make false claims you werent capable of fulfilling. Wolf, take it easy bud, if you're reading this, I appreciate ya!
