Holy poopstain. I've wanted this since release and got it for Xmas. I'm 72 y/o and been playing games since "PONG". (Wasn't that cool? Don't BS me you've never played that) Anyhoo this thing looks so effin confusing I don't know where to start. I've never played anything like it & I love RPG's. I hope I didn't waste the money and I'm sure it's great after a semester or two at the BG3 University's Fighting DarkUrges but I'm afraid to start and miss out on all the game has to offer. I'm stuck on the very first "Boss" and feel like an idiot. I've never bought a guide in my life. Do I need one?

Hoping to see something about the KOTOR remake this year as well. Cyberpunk 2 is still many years away, but if they make the environment more interactive and give us more side activities, it'll be a massive hit.

#1. If it sounds to good to be true, It is. #2. Never EVER trust what Game dev's say. (They mey not be lying, but things can drasticly change before release.) #3. Don't follow their game, if you like what you saw in the trailer. The hype will only set you up for disapointment. #4. 99% of all trailers are bullshit, and does NOT represent what so ever the game itselfe. IF it dosn't specificly tell you its live gameplay during a stream. Then odds are it's bullshit. #5. Remember Fallout 76, and No Man's Sky and The Day Before's releases. All of them had exelent trailers that did NOT represent the final product even tho the devs promised it far and wide. (Of course two have redeemed their messes for most part now, but it should still serve as a huge tale of caution, when it comes to games proclaming big things.)

It's too much games for me, I wish I had the time to play them all 😭

Extremely lookin forward for Exodus, insanely enough after latest dev updates i'm kinda starting to like Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 (yep, it is not Bloodlines but i'm starving for the new WoD rpg game) which is surprising even to me after all these years. Solasta 2 is also promising, first one wasn't perfect but devs definitely have potential so i'm hyped to see their second project. And Dawnwalker too looks interesting.

I saved Isobel and Dame Aylin (Playing as a Paladin) and in the final confrontation with Ketheric, I tried to convince him to stand down, that he could be redeeemed if he just surrendered and worked against the absolute (I was woefully ignorant to just how many gods he had pissed off, so in hindsight i get why he refused). But i never had to fight him in his human form during the final confrontation. I think i connected with the small part of him that was still a Paladin and he ended up just backing off the cliff on his own, no fight required. I had to fight him again in my first playthrough. But the second time when he willingly just gave himself over to Mrykul, I interpreted it as the only thing left he could do to give us a chance at beating him. In a small way, he sacraficed part of his power to give my party a better chance at ending this whole mess. He never broke character in front of Mrykul but that one act convinced me that the honorable man Ketheric was was still deep in there, but too far gone to be redeemed. Mad respect for him, a worthy foe and one which I hope can eventually find redemption, though i know given the nature of his death is unlikely.

Excited for this year, Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 sounds like spiritual successor to Arcanum of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. Solasta is one of my favorite games so excited for 2. I'm wondering what Avowed is going to do with the POE setting. And along with Larian, Owlcat says they are announcing what they are working on later this year.
