Honestly i think a DLC set in Avernus with the player and Karlach raiding the forge and fixing her engine (and possibly even confronting Zariel) would be an awesome experience and a fun round to play! Know it would be difficult since the various possible endings and outcomes, but even if just a stand alone "alternate" playthrough DLC, im sure a lotta people including myself would enjoy it a lot.

I can't lie, I always make sure Karlach goes to Avernus and my head canon is somewhere down the line, romance or not, we find a way to fix her heart and she comes back to Faerun permanently. But that speech Withers gives to a Tav who romanced and lost Karlach at the end and how he reassures Tav that they'll be reunited with Karlach when they pass is tragically beautiful. Withers is truly best bro, especially to redeemed Dark Urge.

There's no need. The heroes of Neverwinter already deal with Zariel. Well, one variation of that campaign. But, minor spoilers, Zariel isn't defeated, she is redeemed. You'd have to look it up and see.

I romanced shadowheart but when her engine was about to blow I went with her not as her lover, but as her friend, no way I could leave her alone. Also the Hell ending isn't a romance ending, if you just close to her (have her on green approval ratting) you can always choose at the end to go with her I guess, maybe don't even need the approval but don't know.

Given withers speech at the end. The DLC most likely will happen after the end of the game so when you went with you girl to avernus you probably just return at the beginning having solved the issue off screen. Wouldn't mind that to much to be honest.

Karlach is the best without a doubt. Be she alive in the Nine Hells or alive as a mind flayer, Karlach is a woman worth having and falling in love with. There has to be a way for her to fix her heart and or change herself as the mind flayer. Karlach is my woman for life.

The problem is that as a Mind Flayer its no longer a woman, Illithid's dont have biological sex. It lives as a Mind Flayer thinks as a Mind Flayer does things to survive as a Mind Flayer, outside of some parts of the personality its not the original Karlach anymore. It's the Illithid with Karlach memories that can emulate Karlach thru manipulation and illusion which are Mind Flayers language, it's what Empy tells u directly when's put under the pressure in the end.

I'm sad to burst the bubble but I really don't think they're hinting at DLC for Karlach. Keep in mind some playthroughs kill her at the start, in some she dies, in some she's an illithid. It wouldn't make sense to make a whole expansion for an ending that maybe half the people got.

The expansion can just be going to Avernus for another separate reason, and if you have Karlach, then that’s a side bit you can do along with the DLC’s main story. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the main narrative.

They don't need to confirm something as canon bro. They can do what Bioware is doing a continue the story from a perspective playthrough. Your story is canon and ended with the epikogue but if you went with karlach to avernus then your canon story can continue.

Unpopular opinion but I feel like the best for her is to become a Mind Flayer. Because she doesn’t have to go back to avernus, her engine is not a problem anymore and because at least her soul is gonna go to Ilsensine and not with Zariel when she dies (regardless of the game and Withers telling you ilithids are soulless , that’s just not canon). Regardless, both outcomes are the best if she stays with you or Wyll, that’s just how she will be happier.

1. She goes back to Avernus by herself, with you if you romanced her, or with Wyll (Wyll needs to become the Blade of Avernus). 2. Let her become a Mind Flayer 3. She dies from the infernal engine. You can consider this saving her as she lived the rest of her life on her own terms, instead of being controlled or returning to Avernus.

It's in the Patch 5 ! It came out like, 2 days ago ;) The Epilogue starts after you beat the final boss and the cinematics, Larian Studio said that you might need to uninstall and reinstall the game for that patch (just in case of), they also said that the patch is compatible with ancient saves already finished ;)
