THANK YOU! My first playthrough I didn't even know what the noblestalk was, and this time I was questioning if I should give it to my Dark Urge, Shadowheart, or Drryth. Tbh 90% of those encounters were the same without the Noblestock given to Shadowheart so now I just have to decide between my Dark Urge and Derryth.

@@juansotomayor9076 Derryth is Baelen's (who is apparently abusive) partner. Baelen is that dwarf you save from the exploding mushrooms (bibbebangs). If you give it to Baelen he can recover his memories but he's a dick. If you give Derryth the nobblestock she will sell you two of them in Act 3.

*Something* about the audio quality of Nocturne dialogue sounds off to me but I can't quite place what it is. At first I thought maybe her voice was pitched weirdly, but Abigail's actual voice isn't any higher or lower than this. I'm wondering if maybe she recorded her dialogue herself and sent them the audio files? Outside recording equipment would probably do it. Or maybe I'm just imagining things idk lmao

Felt the same. Her delivery is a little stiff and rushed. Listen to her when she firsts sees Shadowheart. You’d think seeing your best friend after a long time would evoke a little more emotion. And while she’s telling Shadow about her time in the cloister, she kinda speeds through it all. New actress so my guess is she’s still getting a hang of it.

Spell of True Polymorph spell!? Thats a 9th level spell. People who can cast such powerful spells are few and far between. Elminster and Raphael are the only two characters in the game that could've feasibly cast it. Or otherwise she happen apon it as a spell scroll. Equally rare accurance. Regardless its no small feat. Im sure there's an interesting story behind how she managed it.

She needn't necessarily have used magic, either. irl, the high priestesses in Scythia roughly 2000 years ago were "men who became as women" by drinking a "magic potion" brewed from the urine of pregnant horses (which, it turns out, is very rich in estrogen, and was used in the production of HRT medications until just a few decades ago). So, there are non-magical ways of transitioning that could credibly exist in a world like Faerun.

@@lello2031 Scythia was a kingdom of equestrian nomads, so horses were a _huge_ part of their culture. Since they saw horses as sacred, it's not too far-fetched that their priests would try to find some way to infuse themselves with the magic power of Horse, and drinking horse urine seems as good a way to do that as any, I guess. Pregnant horses even more so, since that's two horses for the price of one (or, maybe something about pregnancy also being magical/sacred, idk). Then, when the priests who were drinking pregnant horse urine started _physically changing_ they must've thought, "aha, see! This is clearly magic; we're on the right track with this stuff!"

@@Alfwin An interesting take that's factually not true. The most that we know is they used the milk of a horse in medicinal remidies, and valued the "venom" of a mare. The "effeminate priests" were never referred to as women or identified as such in all historical sources. The one direct explanation in historical sources as to why they were effeminate is from riding horses for too long, which back then would damage the genitals and testicles. The indirect explanation is it is *possible* they drank horse "venom" (likely piss or discharge) and likely looked effeminate from it. There is still no historical sources saying "men who became women" or a "magic potion". They were simply effeminate men who served the role as priests. We can speculate about things and possibilities but please don't present theories as facts. It harms more than it helps.

I even memory wiped Shadowheart for more allies. I also got rid of wyll and karlach by allying with Minthara. You can do whatever you want in BG3.
