FYI protagonist doesn't state or imply a heroic character, just the character whose actions and desires are the positive (as in, like, adding, not 'good') force of the story, while the antagonist is the force that tries to negate the protagonist's efforts.

Pretty much; for example, Walter White is the protagonist of Breaking Bad, while Hank usually acts as the antagonist. That doesn't mean Walter is a good person or Hank is a bad person.

For the starting deity, you could just roleplay that you needed a cover deity as you are not strong enough to impose your will on to others fully... yet.

@@monojuice I've only played FF7 once on the PS1 way back when I was a kid, and I don't really remember it too well. To be honest, I was never a fan of Final Fantasy as a whole except for Crystal Chronicles and the Tactics Advanced games. My sole experience with Sephy is beating him in Kingdom Hearts 1.

See, when you said you were inspired by a certain white haired character, I KNEW you meant Sephiroth, I HOPED you meant Griffith. I hate the character, but in terms of heel turns, he's one of the best to ever do it. Just think about it, an individual who gathers a band of loyal followers, goes through hardship and battle after battle together only for that individual to sacrifice those same people who believed in them, who they loved for ultimate power. I also would have gone with Great Old One Warlock and all worm powers. Maybe a paladin or fighter multiclass to give them a martial feel.

Its fitting this is hos it ends. Because this was how i beat first beat the game. The moment i saw i could be a mindflayer, I decided my character would be one who abandons their humanity to save the world. Took every dark power and manipulated the darker forces to betray them and get the best outcome but through a sense of wanting to save the worlds. Became a Mind Flayer who'd be good. ABSOLUTEly think i should do this again but take the darker path. A Dark Urge that rejects Bhaal and takes the world in their own name. Sidenote: Modded subclasses on console were mid so for a while, but then Warlock.. Dread Overlord. I look forward to seeing a potential build video just on that mod alone.

Its funny. I actually made a Sephoroph build myself. The One Winged Angel who is more accurate to the game version. But seeing this build, god damn. The Citadel Cerebral armor is a vibe with Dark Urge. I could see this build being perfect for Lucy from Effin Leid.
