HI all! This is a video in which I tried out a new style of video, but I ultimately wasn't happy with it. I'm uploading it as a bonus video since I think the build showcased is still pretty solid and quite fun. Hope you enjoy!

This was fine, but longer is better. Thematic builds that are not focused on pure power are just fine, most of us know about the power builds. I still suggest party based videos showing synergies and abilities many players ignore.

You know it really grinds my gears how underutilized water and wind are as magic in dnd hex imagine a vacuum version of fire ball or a hyper compress water bolt that can cut through material like wood and stone No to get working on a five nights at Freddie's dnd campaign

I don't mind the shorter video, if being concise is more comfortable. But honestly, the longer videos are fun, but I'm a huge nerd who thinks the same way when it comes to builds and I enjoy listening to the fluff and thought processes that got you there.

So I only saw this abbreviated as "The Sand..." in my notifications and thought this was gonna be a different video. It's still great as always, but not what I thought it was. You should totally make a build for "The Sandman" as in The Dream of the Endless from the Neil Gaiman series. Some sort of sleep oriented build maybe? Could be sick.

Longer videos! Longer videos! Lol. I enjoy just listening to you, so shorter/faster videos don't satisfy as much. One of the reasons I'd LOVE for you to redo builds like the "death's hand" video. You sped through that one, and it's one of the builds I've watched the most. Also, have you looked into Warhammer Fantasy/Age of Sigmar? There's an RPG tabletop for the setting called Soulbound. Would love your thoughts on it :-)

The scimitar that you get from the Justicar doesn't have a proficiency attached to it at all. So it would work for this build.

5e in general has problems with themed spells. Fire has the most, but that doesnt mean they are good. Fireball is a standout, not just to its own level, but most damage focused spells usually are let down by math. When you take an already spotty spell list, and implement less than half of it due to System Reference Document legal stuff, you will be left with very few options for themes. I dont know how difficult modding new spells and effects is, but I can shoot a few third party books at your way so you arent started from 0 with your spells.

There's a PC mod that adds almost all 5e spells. If that comes to console I'll use it for all my builds.

@@HoboZone which is why I recommended free 3rd party books, from a creator I respect and endorse. 200+ spells for 5e. One document sorts by class, the other sorts by damage type. So you dont have to come up with 11 wind spells by yourself.
