I was just in Ubud in August, and this video brought back many memories, thank you. You made on of the best Bali vlogs I've seen! I also agree, I don't like all the swings and photo spots they put up at Tegallalang. I wish I knew about the other rice terrace you went to.

We are staying in Ubud next month and your journey through the less travelled rice terraces was a great insight into the real Ubud, Bali. Thank you

There are many bigger and beautiful rice teraces in Indonesia. But People only know Bali. There are many places also with similar natures like those in China. I am from Sulawesi. I often watch videos or documentary about nature in China, then I realize that those looks a little bit similar as the place in Sulawesi. Even other Indonesian from other Islands don't know much about Sulawesi.

I have traveled several times to various places in Indonesia. Yes, you are right. Nature, from mountains, rice fields, waterfalls, forests, and also the food, is amazing. Everything is great and just like Bali. Almost all of Indonesia has beautiful natural scenery. However, there are some things that make Bali different. Bali seems to be designed for tourism. Various aspects, such as accommodation, roads, products, and human resources, are all well-organized and structured. They have been ready to welcome outsiders for a long time. It's like they live with 'hospitality.' This is something I didn't find in other places I visited. That's all.

Thank you again for your amazing footage and commentary. I must be a bit slow as while I was admiring your fantastic footage, I missed the captions with the restaurant names etc so had to rewind a few times. It would be great for me if you could flash them up for a few seconds longer. Not sure if that would detract from the vlog for other people though, so it is just a small suggestion. I’ve been to Ubud a number of times and agree completely with your views. As stated in other comments, there are many more rice fields and terraces in Bali that are also in my opinion are far more beautiful in their natural state. The local people working the rice fields in my experience have always been so friendly and happy to share with you if you engage them. I’ve got some great photo’s with them while I thrashed the rice and pretended to help out.

Actually, the rice fields in Java are more beautiful and more natural than Bali. Rice fields in Java are more spacious and natural without tourism frills, pure local wisdom.

exactly, especially in Dieng Central Java, you can check it out in Google or KZbin, there's no way to compare to the other islands in Indonesia, Dieng is 1000% way better and more cultural, there's literally no tourist from other countries and honestly so sad that everyone only know Bali, which is just 1% of the beauty of Indonesia
