and she almost did it 😭 the only reason she didn't go through was because 10 countries voted for Bulgaria and 11 voted for Norway (while they had both 45 points). I mean that very minor difference stopped her! I would've loved to see her face if she was announced 😭😭

I was SOOO heartbroken for Joan that year... Netherlands that year were so underrated (although not as underrated as Slovenia)... How The Netherlands & Slovenia missed the final, but Lithuania & Norway made it, I'll never know!!! I was SOOO proud for Anouk in 2013, The Netherlands were long overdue a good result, and I was ECSTATIC when Anouk qualified!!! So good for you guys!!!

Norway had very lucky! Norway and Bulgaria was equal with 45 points in the semi final, but Norway took the last final place because they got a 8p and Bulgaria didn't got a 8p.

This commentator is wrong with saying that The Netherlands had never qualified for the final. My country did in 2004! Glad that we never gave up and achieved two very good results the last two years. Hopefully Trijntje will go through this year as well.
