IcAaris 0,1% (me) Sweden should become a Big 6 member, they ALWAYS make the finals

Lunaros They didn’t in 2010 in Norway 😉 And the Big 5 (There are only 5 of them + The winner country) are those who pay the most money to EBU. So until Sweden distributed a high amount of money to EBU, they will not become a member.

IcAaris Well, if Sweden joined, out would become the Big 6, wouldn't it? But seriously, Sweden practically never has to worry about a final qualification. If it became an automatic qualifier, NOTHING would change, as still no matter how sh*tty the song is, they'd be in the final anyway and probably also make the Top 5. However this only shows how rotten and spoiled Europe's music taste is, what makes me happy to see Serbia in the final.

Let me tell you what happened. 1. Serbia slayed. 2. Moldova was probably saved by the juries. 3. Hungary nailed it. 4. Ukraine nailed it as well. 5. Sweden made the finals for being Sweden. 6. So did Australia. 7. Norway is a nice song. 8. Denmark was the best song that evening 9. Slovenia made it for being "modern". 10. The Netherlands took advantage of the Americanization.
