Grinding a Ball Nose End Mill with the Toycen Journeyman Tool Grinder
The most important thing about Ball or corner radius Grinding your position, Timing and swing.
When your set up looks wrong , if a little adjustment wont do it . Start over
If in doubt, Put a sharp corner tool in the collet test the swing make small adjustments until the corner of the tool stays at the corner of the wheel. Make sure the wheel is sharp and you know where it is contacting the tool

whoo hated that fixture :) got a ko lee after many attempts to get repeatability off it. sleeve and bushing just dont cut it

Ball nose are on a spiral...aren't they?

They are pretty flat on the end, if its a 30 degree helix cutter you can regrind them care need to be taken when you approach the helix

i had one of those...what a friggin nightmare :) buy a ko lee. The key is repeatability
