I would add the fact that snakes lack a chin, to the fact that they have stretchy ligaments and such in order to eat big things whole. Or to be specific, they lack a central bone fusing the jaw bones together. That instead of a bony chin like we have, they have a special super super stretchy skin under their face that allows the jaw to stretch diagonally and not just up and down really far. It's an important aspect to touch on because it plays a huge role in the next point about their swallowing capabilities, since they use those separate jaw bones and their backwards pointing teeth and flexible skulls to sort of 'walk' the food into their mouths.
