Used it all day today. It’s a bit heavy and the pin popped out 3 times today opening the back door but it’s mostly doing what it should.

@@PoulinProperty well that's good to hear. I just got mine in today. I do lawncare and only have a gravely with a mulch kit and the leaves are so thick now that it's out of control. I hope this thing does good. I'm allowed to dump on the curb right now on most of my properties. So if it will bag them and do a clean job I'll be happiy

@jason6325 yeah, I’d definitely suggest mulching the leaves first and then putting the catcher on! 😊

The down side of my catcher is the weight of them. I went with the power bagger on my revolt.

@@PoulinProperty yes only thing is few issues with top sealing but Bad bay is fixing it. After running both side catcher and bagger the bagger is way better.

I’ve used a couple different leaf catcher Ballard being one. But the one that is the best and there’s not a lot known about them is a KAGE Katcher. I would definitely recommend trying one. They dump themselves with operator never leaving the machine very well built and come in metal or aluminum

for side baggers the Accelerator is way to go. I used that for other guys and then went and did my own thing and went with the ballard bag since it can mount to any mower and its super heavy and will drag on the ground if your trying to scalp the grass down. I keep it now for my 36 scag since they don't make a bagger system and bought the 2 bagger system for my 52 scag

@@PoulinProperty and the brackets were the same for the 36 and 52. when I got the 36 I'm like they should of welded it and than a year later order one for the 52 and it was welded. I ended up welding it myself and had to cut a bunch off the bottom since I had it all bent from being way to long.

Bad boy put their cable on the wrong end of their chute blocker. It's jammed against the pulley cover.

The blocker looks like it sits on top of the bolts you have in the basket bracket. Cause the blocker is too tall looking if you lowered it down

Not a huge fan of the vac baggers, if the leaves or grass are thick and wet, it’s not great. Love using our grass catcher!

Accelerator is 10 times better. We have had 3 units for over 7 years . No issues. Ballard doesn't manufacturer anything. They have companies build for them

I bought one years ago and returned it immediately, it’s very poorly made and heavy and expensive, the accelerator is way better, that thing will be beat up in no time

Sorry, that product looks poorly designed. It should not bump on the ground and make the deck move which could cause problems for your mower. It cannot handle that volume of leaves. It looks like it works better after you initially mulch the leaves first. Maybe you can send it back.

We are going to give it another go today, I’m not afraid to try again or say I did something wrong… it’s just a pretty simple thing, that I’ve used before. We will see what today brings 🙃

⁠i got a 30 inch snow pusher and I also got very over priced Ballard blades that were really Oregon blades . I just don’t like this used car salesman hyping up products that aren’t even his, just resells other products
