Any wear on your deck, recalibrating deck height due to weight mainly on one side of the deck?
@D.Stephenson Жыл бұрын
No. It isn’t heavy enough to have to adjust anything.
@Dunbarton2 жыл бұрын
You didn't show you emptying the catcher in the front yard and only once in the back yard.
@D.Stephenson2 жыл бұрын
You’re right. Because I didn’t need to empty it in the front yard until I l finished the front. And only needed to once in the back. Not sure what you’re getting at here
@sirbrutal2 жыл бұрын
Almost. The latch is what stopped me. Bought some more steel rack-ems with the old school latch. Weight be damned.

So gotta ask how beneficial is the catchpro for fall clean ups getting up those leaves? Also, any update with it? Would you buy it again?
@creatingmind49103 ай бұрын
Just got mine and im not impressed. It leaks like crazy around the hatch and you cant tell when its full.
@everettmast29212 жыл бұрын
For the price of 4 of these things, you could get a 14bushel JohnDeere 3 bag collection system. These might be ok on small lawns, but some yards we clean up have 10- 20+ loads of leaves on them (that's with a 14 bushel bagger!).

Good stuff brother. The lawn looks nice!

Hey Dylan, I've used the Catch Pro all summer. And I really like it. I cut my yards twice. And I use X-Blades. 1st cut discharge. 2nd cut CatchPro. The second cut enhances my stripes. And the X blades chops up material small. CatchPro holds more. And the yard looks like a new penny. I don't like the clasp. It's awkward putting the door back on also. I'm going to flare out the fins on the box and flare them in on the door. Both just slightly so the door will go back on easier. And I'm going to come up with a better way than the clasp to lock. I do wish the door hinged at the top. That would be better. Still ... Good purchase.

Very nice. I have thought about the x-blades as well. So they work pretty well huh? Thanks for your input on the CatchPro! I’ll keep an eye out for those key points!

ah, man! when the wind blew it back in, and then it started snowing. Lots of days like that here in the fall. What can you do but show up again next week and do it all over for more money.

Bro so cool are you going to the lawn and landscape society event in February?

Thanks man! No I’m not. With that being in the heart of our winter season, it’s tough to get away. Never know what Mother Nature is going to bring 🤷🏼♂️

What do you think of the CatchPro by Ballard, Inc.? Drop a comment down below!

I agree with some of the above comments. The bracket set up is trash!

I really like the idea of the Catch Pro, but with none of my customers wanting leaves bagged I wouldn’t use it to its full potential. I do think they are the perfect size for a 36” in small backyards. Great video as always! 👊🏻
@D.Stephenson4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! I appreciate it! I am somewhat in the same boat as you. But i think I’m still going to use it for my mulching properties. Sometime the leaves can be SUPER thick and dense. When I mulch them there will sometimes be a section that is a little heavy in leaf matter. That’s when I will swing in with the catch pro and collect some of that debris.
@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power4 жыл бұрын
As large as the carton was, I'm surprised they don't ship them assembled 🤔
@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power4 жыл бұрын
And nope, I either tarp leaves, blow them straight to the curb, or mulch them..
@D.Stephenson4 жыл бұрын
Honestly it wasn’t too bad putting together. Basically the same nuts and bolts throughout the whole thing. But, I see what you’re saying. that is a good idea!

The Catch Pro is a horrible low quality product. You pay a premium price for it and receive a substandard product that Fails within the first five or 10 uses. It Fails because it comes with a soft aluminum bracket that mounts to your mower deck at the exit chute and it begins to Bend once it gets 2-5 pounds of clippings/debris in it, eventually bending So Much that it finally Drags the Ground & Pavement. I bend the bracket back upright but then it’s Bends back to the ground after 1-2 more uses. The aluminum bracket just continues to get softer and weaker the more you use the catch pro, eventually to the point you can’t use it anymore after maybe 10 or 12 uses total. Which that is where I’m at now with my piece of junk catch pro. Plus the door is very difficult to remove then put back on after dumping clippings and it bends very easily it’s made out of thin sheet metal. In fact the entire Catch Pro is made out of pour thin substandard aluminum. I regret my $500 purchase of Ballard Incorporated - Green Industry Accessories Catch Pro

It sounds like you may have some information that could be forwarded along to them. Have you sent an e-mail to them with your concerns or thoughts on the product? I’m sure they would appreciate your input on any way to improve their product. Look forward to hearing from you.

I unfortunately just got one and put it together and I’m not going to even put it on my mower. This is a child’s toy . Who ever made this has never mowed more then a few lawns . The latch is a joke and it’s way to fragile… and actually weights more then my steel grass gobblers my first Ballard experience and unfortunately I think it’s all marketing .. I’ll let you know how the return goes

Pretty awesome, I just got one not long ago. Only complaint is they fill up so darn fast lol
@D.Stephenson4 жыл бұрын
Nice! Yeah that is a downfall. But, the only way to get more debris is to go bigger and that’s a bagger lol. Do you bag leaves in your area?
@rontopping20483 жыл бұрын
Accelerator bagger is much better, this drags on the ground won't last long

I always enjoy watching your videos. I like your positive attitude you bring to your channel. We have never used anything to bag leaves or grass. I am looking forward to seeing what you have coming and what you have planned for the catch pro. Great video brother. God Bless Don’t forget to check our channel out when you get a chance. Thanks
@D.Stephenson4 жыл бұрын
Man, thank you for the kind words! I super appreciate it! I am anxious to put it to test on a “true” leaf clean up. Do you just mulch your leaves up typically as well? I’ll definitely check out your channel!
