Ballina to the GOLD COAST Queensland by bus. Includes problems buying a Go Card

Using buses for the trip from Ballina to Broadbeach on the Queensland Gold Coast. The trip includes the difficulty in buying a GO CARD on the NSW and Queensland border as at the time Translink buses only accepted Go Cards. Cash or credit cards aren't accepted.

Oh drat I completely missed the Broadbeach county music festival I was working so probably couldn’t have gone anyhow - I do miss blues on Broadbeach and the jazz festival- I used to get the train/ bus/ tram Down from Brisbane and. Stay for the weekend. Quite a good run down from central station in Brisbane to Broadbeach. David Young 40 Brisbane Australia

My favorite is Cooly Rocks On. The festival has become very popular! A few years back, we paid $1,200 for a week's accommodation in Coolie, but now that same apartment is going for well over $3,000 during the festival. I was at the Blues festival a few years ago, but with the price of accommodation-phew! But there is a silver lining: My daughter has recently moved into an apartment in Broadbeach and has a large sofa in her living room. :) Cheers Kerry

Good video ,on the gold coast light rail you can use a debit or credit card , no Amx and no concession but still only 50c

I was from Brisbane,typical, my relatives back there saying how marvellous the 50c fare is, they didn't say anything about having to get a "Go card".

Just spent some time at Gold Coast Private Hospital and used the trams/trains. Didn't get a Go Card, simply used a debit credit card.

Kerry A big question. Why is a fair percentage of the images when you have the camera facing you show in reverse. I know with my phone it is when I use the camera on the reverse side of the phone it comes out as reversed. Is that the same with you. It does spoil the enjoyment of the videos.
